Sustainable access to minerals, metals and advanced materials is vital to achieving the goals outlined in the European Green Deal. Today, only a fraction of the most relevant raw materials is produced in Europe. This can be changed through a circular economy approach, through innovation in recycling, substitution, processing, mining, and exploration.
Get insights from leading experts from across the value chain
The Expert Forum3 is an excellent opportunity to get insights from leading experts and policymakers on key trends, opportunities and challenges from the entire raw materials value chain. This year, we will focus on the three Lighthouse programmes dedicated to:
- Responsible Sourcing
- Sustainable Materials for Future Mobility
- Circular Societies

Partners and stakeholders of the EIT RawMaterials Community will get familiar with the new Call for Projects 2022 (KAVA 9) at the Brokerage Event 2021. We encourage you to take the first step to meet potential partners and develop project proposals for a sustainable future of the raw materials sector.
This year, we will introduce a pitching session to present proposal ideas at the end of each Lighthouse session. You will also have the opportunity to arrange individual speed-networking meetings on our Matchmaking platform.
